The campsite closes on Sunday 1 November 2026.
2027 season
The campsite re-opens for the 2027 season on Monday 15 March 2027.
2027 Bookings for two or more nights are now open.
Our online booking system shows live availability and is the quickest way to book.
However, sometimes a human eye can spot possibilities that the system can't. If you can't find what you're looking for, we may be able to help.
We also understand that online booking or payment isn't for everyone.If you would prefer to book or pay another way, we're always happy to help.
Ferry bookings
Please check that you can get to Arran before confirming your stay.
The only website where you can actually book a ferry to Arran is CalMac.
Please do not use Direct Ferries or other booking agents. They are known to cancel bookings at short notice, leaving travellers stranded at the port without a ferry crossing.
If you need a little time to confirm your ferry booking, please get in touch. We are happy to hold a pitch temporarily while you make your arrangements.
Ferry cancellations, delays, missed sailings and booking issues are outside our control, so our normal cancellation policy applies.
Arrivals
Arrivals are from 13:30 to 20:00.
Entering the campsite before 13:30 without prior agreement interrupts our lunch break. Guests arriving early may incur a £16 early arrival charge and will be asked to leave.
In the darker months, we would appreciate it if you could arrive before sunset where possible.
Availability
We are a small campsite and can become fully booked. We do not squeeze extra tents or vehicles onto pitches, as we want everyone to have enough space to enjoy their stay.
Our online booking system shows live availability and what each option is suitable for.
Tent options are for traditional tents only. They are not suitable for campervans, motorhomes, vans or roof tents. Any vehicle parking must be booked, and is for one standard car only.
Caravan, motorhome, campervan and roof-tent options are on hardstanding pitches and are not suitable for traditional tents.
Please book for what you are actually arriving with. If the right option is not available, we are unfortunately full for that type of unit. If you are unsure, please contact us before booking.
Guests arriving with a different unit or vehicle from that booked may be turned away without refund. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
We always try to honour the pitch number selected at booking, but this cannot be guaranteed, particularly for shorter stays.
Maximum vehicle length is 8.5 metres. Maximum tent size is 24 square metres. Please enter your exact unit dimensions in the Special Requests box when booking.
Payment and booking details
A 50% deposit is required to secure every booking.
The remaining balance is due 21 days before arrival and will usually be taken automatically from the card used to make the booking, unless we have agreed another arrangement with you in advance.
Bookings made within 21 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Bookings are confirmed on full payment before arrival, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with us in advance.
If you are unsure about anything, please contact us before booking. It is always easier to check first than deal with changes or cancellations later.
