Terms and Conditions

Payment:

Deposit: Payment of a deposit of 50% will secure a booking.

Balance: The balance is due 21 days before arrival. If you pay by card online or over the phone you agree to the remaining balance automatically being taken 21 days before arrival. If you book less that three weeks before arrival the full balance is due.

Method of Payment: You may pay by credit/debit card on our online booking system or by calling Bridgend Campsite on 01770 860597. Alternatively, please Contact Us for bank transfer details.

Outstanding Charges: All outstanding fees and charges must be paid in full prior to departure. Failure to pay before departure will incur a £10 administration fee.

Cancellations, transfers & Refunds: (We strongly advise that you have travel insurance)

Cancellations must be confirmed by email to be effective.

For Cancellations more than 28 days before arrival the deposit and any additional balance paid can be used against a future booking. (Subject to availability, within the current season)

For Cancellations less than 28 days before arrival the deposit is non-refundable. Any additional balance paid can be used against a future booking. (Subject to availability, within the current season)

For Cancellations 22 Days or less before arrival: No credit or transfer of booking offered.

No-Show Policy ~ In the event of a no-show the booking will be cancelled in full. A no-show occurs when a guest fails to arrive at the campsite before the last check-in time on their scheduled arrival date and has not been in touch.

Booking:

Disclosure of group information: When booking you will disclose details of all members of your party including persons making separate bookings and subsequently meeting up on the campsite.

Liability: You accept you will be using the facilities including the children's play as provided at your own risk. Children should be under adult supervision at all times. We will accept no liability for accidents or injuries howsoever caused. We will accept no liability whatsoever for any theft, loss or damage to your property or possessions, insured or not.

Payment for damage caused: We reserve the right to charge for damages and to our site including but not limited to electric hook-ups, toilet blocks, washing up area, play area and equipment, pitches and fencing.

Non-compliance with Rules, terms & conditions: We reserve the right to refuse entrance to our campsite to anyone who, in our judgment, may be at risk of non-compliance with the rules, terms and conditions. We may also instruct you and/or specific members of your group to leave the premises for non-compliance with Rules, terms & conditions. Such action will not be taken unreasonably or without prior discussion with you.

Privacy Policy

We only take information required and do not pass on information to any other company.

All information is treated with respect and only people trained to do so will process information required.

We hold a valid PCI DSS COMPLIANCE VALIDATION regarding the processing of credit/debit cards.

Campsite Rules

Please be considerate to other campers.
Arrival from 13:00 to 20:00 ( 1pm to 8.00pm ) Arrivals after 6pm will be self check-in, details will be sent via email.
Depart by 11:30.
Noise:
- Please keep noise to a reasonable level at all times.
- No generators or running of engines allowed on site.
- Please keep noise to an minimum between 10.00pm and 8am.
Dogs: (We welcome well behaved dogs and other pets)
- Dog must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
- Dog should be socialised and happy to be around other dogs and people.
- Do not take your dog into the toilet blocks.
- Do not exercise your dog on the campsite. Dogs to be walked off site, please pick poo up and place in bin (just up the forest track there is a poo bin).

Due to a small minority of irresponsible dog owners last year you will be asked to leave site if you are unable to adhere to any of the above.

Barbecues and fires:
- No open fires or fire pits
- Charcoal BBQs are allowed for cooking only and must be off the grass and safe distance from motorhomes, caravans, tents and vehicles. (There is a supply of bricks to raise disposable BBQ's off the ground, next to the elsan point)
- The use of log burners in tents is at our discretion, please get in touch for best pitch options.
- Please dispose of used disposable BBQ's and coals on the ground to the left of the bins, (do not put them in the bins.)

Electric / Hybrid vehicles (Excluding E-bikes) must not be charged on our electric hook-ups. It has the potential to overload and damage our system. Anyone caught doing so will be asked to leave the site immediately.
