Terms and Conditions

To secure bookings we take first nights stay payment as deposit for bookings March to October (inclusive), this is non-refundable but can be used against a future booking with Bridgend Campsite, Shiskine, Isle of Arran KA27 8EN. You have a year from your original booking date to rebook and use your deposit held by us, bookings cancelled due to Covid19 restrictions have 5years to rebook.

Balance to be paid 2 weeks before arrival, it is only refundable if we can rebook the pitch; £10 admin fee will be retained.

Deposit payments can be made by credit/debit card on our online booking system or by phoning Bridgend Campsite on 01770 860597. Alternatively by bank transfer email info@bridgendcampsitearran.com .

We are a Sort & Save campsite, and as such ask that guests separate rubbish into the bins provided, rinsing tins and plastic containers before disposal. Black/Grey is general waste, Blue or Green is recycle.

Use of all facilities including the children's play area is at own risk, children under 10 years should be under adult supervision at all times.

Bridgend Campsite tariffs may be changed annually. We reserve the right to change our tariffs at any other time and without further notice.

Arrival from/ Departure before times are 12 noon.

Damages to our site including electric hook-ups, toilet blocks, washing up area, play area and equipment, pitches, fencing and our property will be charged for.

Privacy Policy

We only take information required and do not pass on information to any other company.

All information is treated with respect and only people trained to do so will process information required.

We hold a valid PCI DSS COMPLIANCE VALIDATION regarding the processing of credit/debit cards.

Campsite Rules

  • Arrival time is from 12 noon, please contact us if you need to arrive earlier.

  • Please be considerate to other campers.

  • 6 metres between sleeping units.

  • Vehicle speed 5mph at all times on site.

  • 11pm to 7am please make no excess noise, no music or move vehicles.

  • Children under 11yrs old should be under supervision at all times, especially in the toilet blocks and play area. Children are only allowed to play on your own pitch or the play area (no running around or in and out of the toilet blocks). If we have to ask you more than twice to supervise your children you will be asked to leave the site with no refund.

  • There should be no more than one person on the Trampoline at a time, no balls, no bouncing off the net (it is there to prevent you from falling off).

  • Dogs must be kept on leads and other pets must be kept under control at all times.

  • Dogs to be walked off site, please pick poo up and place in bin (just up the forest track there is a poo bin), please try not to allow dogs to toilet on site as this is not pleasant for other campers or safe for children playing.

  • No open fires with wood.

  • Charcoal BBQs allowed but must be off the grass and safe distance from motorhomes, caravans, tents and vehicles.

  • Departure time is before 12 noon, it may be possible to stay on longer but must be discussed with us.

  • Electric / Hybrid vehicles can not be charged on our electric hook-ups (it will overload and damage our system) anyone caught doing so will be asked to leave the site immediately and any fees will not be refunded. We are trying to get charging points installed, in the meantime the nearest charge point is at the Kinloch Hotel Blackwaterfoot or along the front at Brodick.
